Selling online is easy. It’s the shipping that tends to suck the time out of your life. WIth the FBA program with Amazon simply ship all you products to the Amazon warehouses and let them handle the rest. It’s a simple way to scale your business so you can focus on the products instead of the shipping. I used to spend 1-2 hours a day shipping 10-20 products and let me tell you it is exhausting! No I spend about 2 hours a week sending hundreds of products to Amazon and sell around 20-30 items a day. What a huge improvement!
I started with the Amazon app (the same app used to buy) and started scanning some clearance items at my local Target to see if there was something I could make some money on. Before long I found some Master Padlocks that were selling for $7 and sold on Amazon for $35. I bought 4 and went through the process of sending them in. After they arrived at the fulfillment center they sold with a day and I was shocked how easy the process was. From that moment on I was hooked.
Here’s how to start:
- Sign up for an Amazon Seller account. (you will use an existing Amazon.com account and fill in a little more information)
- Download and install the Amazon seller app on your smart phone (Android, iPhone).
- Change the Default Fulfillment Channel to “Amazon Fulfilled”
- Start Scanning!
- Find profitable items
- Buy
- Create listings and Shipment
- Ship to the Amazon Fulfilment Centers
- Watch them sell!
